American Red Cross for Wilderness First Responder Training Are you wanting First Responder training? You can get it through American Red Cross. They have the training program and with an affiliate instructor and provider, you too can be medically trained, to be used in your home as well as out and about. Don't stand and watch! Be trained, and don't worry, do the best you can as you are protected by the Good Samaritan act for liability. Just be prepared to help, and it will get in your blood. Your local volunteer fire department needs you too, if you get hooked and want to help locally. There is something about that phone ringing in the middle of the night. There is nothing better.
