Fishing on Table Rock has slowed down a little as far as the bass are concerned. You can still catch some decent one’s about the first hour of day light after that it get’s a little tough. Small males are guarding the nest for the most part. You’ll see your line go sideways and set the hook and nothing. |It’s just a stage they go through every year but look out when those big females recover from all the rigors of spawning  it’ll be Katy bar the door..

Crappie fishing  has been spotty at best this year. Some are being caught in the back ends around the bushes and the larger ones are being caught about 15 ft deep next to trees. Minnows and small crappie jigs are still working .

The best fishing is taking place from around Kimberling City to the damn. The water temp in the upper regions is in the high 60’s and today it reached 70. Consequently the water temp is cooler down lake and the small mouth bass and goggle eye are biting well . A green pumpkin tube along main lake gravel points for the bass and a smoke colored grub will produce some nice goggle eye. The lake level is 918.1 but they are running 4 generators at the damn as they are predicting rain almost every day this week.
