Why do we do this? (No value really, well maybe entertainment. We want to ramble a minute.) Because it is fun to get out and see the things that you cant see from your car. These systems allow you to see parts of the country that most people do not get to see, a way of getting away from civilization for just a while, and connecting with the real world, the wildlife, the ground from which we came. Ever hugged a tree, deep in the woods? Imagine the roots are fingers, or conductors grounding through a natural conductor, moisture in the tree. Imagine that when you hug it, the stress is drained from your body, as you are completely relieved of that stress energy. Focus on the quiet, the roots, it works! I don't know what a formal "tree hugger" is, this is just a little exercise that doesn't make us weird, just in tune to the energies of the woods. Ever woke up camping, shortly after sunrise, and the steam is rising off the river? The early sun is bright, there is frost on the ground, about 27 degrees, and you are warm in your bag. The moment is awesome. Let's see if you can picture it. This is why... We hope we have informed and entertained you! We welcome your feedback and appreciate your interest, from your friends at, Ozark River Company |

(Click on picture for close up!) Kayak Packing Note: Heavy weight should be low and in the stern (rear), and easy access gear on top of front. We leave the lower bow empty. Heavy weight in front affects the ease of steering. Packing the heavy gear low improves stability of the loaded kayak dramatically. |
